Dear Friends,
So far this year, Cura Smiles has provided $194,000 in dental services to 163 patients. To give you perspective, in 2024 we provided $415,000 of services to 247 patients. We have already seen significantly more patients and are on our way to surpassing the value of services provided. We're so thankful that we can provide dental care to people who otherwise wouldn't be able to prioritize it.
We received two more grants from Las Patronas and Del E. Webb for two new dental chairs. We are thrilled! We just ordered them and should receive them in the next month or so- stay tuned for pictures of the new chairs!
Fundraising Update
We continue to raise funds for the operation of the clinic. 100% of our support comes from individual donors, foundations, or grants. Our fundraising goal is $180,000 a year, which is $15,000 in monthly donations. We have continued to see monthly donors join the team, and we are very grateful! We currently have $1,255 in committed monthly giving, but are looking to raise more. We're trying to get to $2,500 by the end of June! The summer months are particularly critical for us to fundraise.
Would you consider joining our team, either as a monthly donor or by giving a one-time gift?
Your support today helps us provide essential dental care to those who need it most in our community. With growing demand for our services, your generosity ensures that every child and adult who walks through our doors receives the compassionate, quality care they deserve. Together, we can create brighter, healthier smiles-thank you for making a lasting difference.
